Yep, 296mm discs here, 32mm thick. I have heard of guys using verada 296mm discs, thinner and lighter. My discs are quite heavy, they dont even change color after being flogged though.. and pedal is there every time!!
Racetech, Why are you using a Fwd block? It is a common conversion to fit the VE head to a Rwd S13/14/15 block. You have to run a external oil line from block to head and thats it (there is a good write up and photos on how-to somewhere on the net) A bit of a mix and match with parts... and presto. Thermostat housing in the correct spot, all bolts for gearbox and correct mounting spots on block for engine mounts. Remote mounting of the VVL solenoids is required, The tricky part is running the oil pressure back into the head from the solenoids (My head is only 10mm off the firewall).
Thanks Rallytwit, The thing on the cage on the left is a lap timer pick up, Displays on the dash(left side of guages) great tool for setting up the car! Pads are actually Bendix Ultimates, a not so special road pad. Front calipers are R32 gtr with R33 Gtst discs... Brakes are my fav bit on the car!
Usually sprints require ankle to wrist clothing, Jeans and long sleeve shirt do the trick.
Car is set up for Improved Production rules, Standard dash pad and door trims and original suspension pick up points are the basics..
Dragging down my 1200 Sedan. Sr20de, this will be its last run.. Sr20ve is getting built I have booked at Benalla Leisure Park, is that were most people are staying?
