So I'm swapping the trans on my ute , but find out the differential has been replace , I have a spare 1200 sedan but the one in the truck is slighter bigger but is not bigger enough to be the stock for the ute , the driveshaft from the sedan bolts right on , where I can find ID tags to see out of what car the differential is out from ?

I was at the wrecking yard and found 3 Datsuns b210 78, 80, 79 on the 79 had a air dam below the front bumper , I was wondering if that air dam will fit into the 1200 , I will take some pictures and post them tomorrow

Long story short , I have a 71 Datsun UTE somebody did a swap from manual to Auto, now I want to swap it back to manual , i got a driveshaft from a manual coupe but it looks to short be cause it leaks gear oil from the back of the transmission, does the ute have a different driveshaft? Also if it is different which US model have a similar set up?
