curious to see how far torwards the rear of teh cabin it would sit.

In one of the Old skool specials of hot fours i have i found an Orange 1200 ute 'IDTIGR' owned byJoe Barticcio, not my taste as its a bit show car spec for me however it is a gorgeous vehicle and i have respect for Joe and his build. what interested me was the dash and power window conversion.

I'm a big fan of the stock old school dash however when the motor conversion is done i was hoping tha the dash would read overthe 240km/h mark as thats what the motor will handle and seeings as how i havent found a replacement guae that will fit into the dash now i'm thinking of a similar path to Joe. i wouldnt have a tan colour just a nice clean black.




Oppinions? :)

:) just ran the old man he said to do the same thing. I've just used areldite, fingers crossed. After having a look atthe carbuy i think i may need a new one anyways parts and springs look and feel rather worn and sloppy.

Hey All I'm after an A12 motor carby (or bolt on replacement). mines torn the inside thread that hold the filter in place and i need it for work on monday. so going on a long shot i'm hoping someone has one at home they wouldnt mind parting with, even if its on loan till tuesday or wednesday when i can get to narangba wreckers and get one for $77 seeings as how they are closed until then ..

On the Gold Coast/Brissy area
going into a 1200 ute if that matters.

hey all, have just been lookin up this exact info however. the compliance plate on my 1200 ute claims that its GVM is 1315kgs, 1/2t ute. The plate hasnt been tampered with in anyway but was wondering if maybe it has beentaken from another Datsun ute and placed onto my 1200. is there anyway to tell. is there a specific code that i should be reading that will tell where the plate originated? any help would be appreciate :)
