Hey ruebs nah I end up coming to my senses and am sticking with my a15 instead of doing a turbo a12
Considering flicking my sedan for a ute, I miss my ute and it was really handy to get parts and are allround alot cooler (imo) than my sedan
Anyone selling a decent ute pm me!

Yea its a pretty tough little thing!
They are kiehin itbs off a cb900 road bike
And the more I think about it I wish I made tbe runners longer but room was an issue
The 2 inside runners have more bends than th outside runners but it shpuldnt be too much of a problem if I smooth the inside with a dremel
Pics tonight fellas!

Yea I hear what your saying but if the port is smaller than what the throat of the throttle body is then its not going to flow any more
Being said, bigger means less restriced intake and unlike carbs I dont need to worry bout low down air speed
Interested to see it running, had A play with the ecu and I have got it to fire inkectors and stuff so need some coils and to finish the mani and I can try start it!

just wondering what size throttle bodies would be best suited to an a15 with alot of work? engine specs
12:1 comp port work and 5 angle valve job extractors wolf 3d ecu and indivdual coils balanced and a few other bits
i have a set of 36mm itbs ,and my old carb setup had 34mm chokes ,so does thast mean the itbs will flow more than the 34mm choked carbs? and the itbs dont have an inner venturi like carbs
also my runners are 38mm od and taper into the oval gx port
dont really want to make the manifold up then find the setup i have is too restrictive and will need to be changed
aiming at 130rwhp
cheers

hey everone , recently sold my 40mm solex carbs in favour of a set of 36mm kiehin itbs
In the process of making a manifold , and I need to source an ecu
Been looking at megasquirt as they are cheap and do everything all the big brand ones do , but im still not sure whats the best option
Should I keep the single coil setup and go fuel only or go for multicoil and run a cas?
What would I use as a crabk angle reference? And what dozzyoptions do I have as ive been running a points dizzy as a trigger for my msd6al2
Thanks and any help would be awesome
