Sweet, will be running a mild A15.

Can the R32 calipers be mounted to the 1200/120Y struts? Not essential but would like it for the wank factor.

Cheers.

Hi, i guess you guys are sick of these threads but ive done a bit of searching but cant decide which way i should go for a strut/brake upgrade.

Ive got a stock 85 1200 ute and wanna have it pretty low and run 7-8" wide 14-15" wheels.
I like the idea of adjustable coilover kits and wanna run a camber top also.

Would be cool to have some silvia/R32 style brakes on them.

I just dont know what to start with, ive read that 280zx struts are good but i dont wanna run spacers or get custom wheels built to allow for the decreased track width.

Ive read the Tech wiki section a few times but just cant decide which way i should go.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Daniel

Check the timing or sounds like the carby mite be blocked, take the air cleaner off while its running, rev the #OOPS# outta it then block the inlet of the carby with something that will seal it but not get sucked into the carby if that makes sense. The suction will help clean out anything stuck in the carby and mite fix your problem. If not perhaps a carby rebuild.

Thanks man, Fender mirrors found

Kinda hoping to do the suspension/brakes on the cheap, have had a look at the Maddat setups and if it nothing turns up i mite go with that.

Not really keen on a brand new seat, kinda chasing an old tired one.
Also looking for a set of 14-15" 7-8" wide jap wheels.

Cheers

Hi, chasing a complete brake upgrade to suit a stock 85 1200 ute, something like Stanza, 200B, 240k or what ever fits.

Also looking for some jap JDM style fender mirrors

Fixed back race seat, dont care what condition its in.

Located in Melbourne and Adelaide.
Cheers
