The switch I have closes circuit at 94 and opens at 89, I thought engine operating temperature is roughly this.

Do you want the coolant exiting the engine being this temp or the coolant entering the engine being this temperature, I would have though the coolant exiting the engine being this temperature would mean that the motor is roughly that temperature?.

Do you know the temps that the 310 switch operates at?.

Can anyone help me with what the purpose of this sensor is for?, I wish to put a thermo fan temp switch in this hole.

I am pretty sure this will not affect me what so ever, but just thought I would ask first.

Just a heads up for anyone, Mirror finishing is an absolute pain, it takes alot of work and is very dirty work, if prices seem expensive there is a good reason.

So I purchased a house (waiting on settlement now), got my license back and sold the ford, I now have 2 weeks holidays to finish the car and have it as my daily.

The car is almost complete now. The gearbox crossmember provided some hassles but nothing too hard, It is now a horrid conglomeration of 3 crossmembers =/.

Just about to go pick up my new idler arm and tie rods now. All I have left to do is bolt in the steering components, make up some radiator hoses, wire in the thermo fans and put the starter motor and alternator on, Then its ready to go, Hoping to be done by monday so I can spend next week getting it road worthy and registered.

Some pics.

Also not pictured is a bolt in alloy cage, l20b extractors, stumpy L 5-speed.

I have 6.5 inch with the perfect offset on the front to be close to the coilovers, you could possibly go 7 inches but I think you will end up scrubbing the guard.

Are you moving your leaf springs inwards?, 12 inches is a lot for the rear.

I would be very keen, I have rear koni's and reset leafs, my front springs are 225 pounds, no idea what would match that for the rear tho?.

Surely its been done, there is room for it, but the cooler piping would be tricky to get around it.
