With the mods and if its as tidy as stated, I can see people paying a good sum for it, By immaculate I'd assume no rust, perfect paint, and no rips or tears, watanabe's are a plus with good suspension. I'd imagine anywhere 6-8k could be fetched from the right buyer.
It really depends on may factors tho.

My housing shortning on both ends with a new axle to suit the long side was half that, but the brakes make it an alright deal, I dont think you even get a center for the $2300 tho, and 2900 for a kaaz, they gotta be kidding, and dont pay more then $150 for a used lsd.

That was fully rebuilt, the center is over $1200 by itself, The only thing I didnt get was the brakes, but that would still come along way under maddats price, 2300+ center from memory which would be like $3600, can't see brakes costing a grand, but each to their own, both are good products and ways to go.

Weld a crossmember up, cut the tunnel and weld in a new one, don't upgrade the turbo for a hillclimb car, 280kw will see you into a tree in hill climbs. Where abouts are you planning on racing anyway, what track? or planning on traveling for hillclimbing?
Coilovers are good but probably way too stiff, they would probably be 8kg+ when you want maybe 5kg for a stiff setup.
As for rear suspension, s13 gear is way too wide to get the camber right, you may be able to use mx5 stuff, unless you want like -15 camber. A well set up live axle is just as good as a bodgy irs rear.
