have owned a few 31's over the years, different years came with different colours.

none of this matters very much, whats important is that it has a switched earth, not positive, I'm not 100% certain, but this is done for safety if anything dodgy happens to wiring. never made much sense to me.

Otherwise its a variable speed pumno, it has a signal wire to vary the speed, doesnt hurt to have it full blast all the time, but may reduce pump life.

Got any idea of the offset & width?

try putting them flat on the floor, get a tape measure and stick it through the center hole, measure how high the wheel sits off the ground, and take off the width the tyre sits off the rim.

for offset, lay down flat again, and measure from the ground to the inside of the wheel where it makes contact with the brakes, if you post both measurements up here I could probably get a good idea of what you are trying to sell.

Have finished both the engine and gearbox crossmembers, Both are fully welded etc.

Gearbox Crossmember - Used the auto datto crossmember with the ca18's center part. Just whacked some 5mm plate between the two and welded.

Engine Crossmember - Used 5mm plate for the engine mounts, also notched out the top of the middle so the sump has clearance to be a bit lower.

Just waiting for the paint to dry on the engine crossmember and i'll chuck it in tomorrow morning. Then start on the wiring I guess as I still need to get a radiator and few bits for the rest of cutting and fabrication.

great looking car! Getting that tranny in there sure requires a lot of hacking into the tunnel, will you have to weld back in a new box of some sort around it when you're all finished w/the fab work making it fit?

Yeah, just a couple of little sheets of metal to cover the holes, should be bugger all and will use stocko heater box/carpet.

I now definitely see the merit in those people who cut away the radiator support and bolt it up, it was an absolute bitch to get the gearbox on the motor even without a clutch by myself. Resorted to dropping out crossmember, swaybar and steering arm and bolting them together on the floor before lifting up. Sort of ran out of time after everything else I have been busy with but the gearbox looks in the right position now, hopefully if I am not too busy or lazy during the week I'll weld up the holes and crossmembers.

anyway pics of the crustyness.
