I'd give him $699 for that, would be very handy at the farm. Could fit lots of bales of hay in the back when feeding sheep and wouldn't have to open doors. win win.

Put one in the post for you today buddy.

My thoughts are that Datto's were not built to last. Japanese cars of the 70's and 80's were made out of metal that had been recycled many times hence the rust in many of these.
The new cars today could last as long as Datto's if they are looked after and maintained. Some 5 year old 4 cylinder cars have clocked up over 300,000 k's which is more than a lot of Datto's ever did.

Have had many discussions on this topic. Firstly I don't think new vehicles would have any effect on prices of Datto's. I think it all boils down to the economy and who has the money to buy them. I personally think Datto's are overpriced for what some people want for them.
Look at GT falcons what they were bringing ten years ago and what the same car is worth now, way less.
My hobby is motorbikes. Ten years ago a Kawasaki 900 in restored condition was worth $25,000 these days the same bike sells for $15,000.
Also think some is a generation thing, what you grow up wanting is what you will buy when you are earning a squillion dollars a year no matter what it costs. In ten years time GT falcons may be replaced by Skylines or VL turbo's.
Just my thoughts.

Had an early type on a Customline back in the day. Think it was a speco in line shifter.
Spose your after one like the V8 supercars.

I don't think many people take much notice of EOI adds.
It boils down to what you want for it and what someone else is prepared to pay for it.
Pictures would help.

Found one in the shed a few weeks ago in a box. Probably complete but I cut one wire to get a regulator off to send to elemental funk. Where are you?
