2nd time round idea, first i had the whole panel as one and planned to mount it on the firewall, didnt really like the look. Rehashed the idea, this way cable is perfect length for computer to sit under the seat out of the way. Just have to finish making bottom plate to mount it on.
Diagnostic plugs sits neatly in opening, just had to make one for the loom to go through
Also managed to get one Excellent GX badge, something tells me im pushing poo up hill finding another!
Radiator will hopefully be ready this week, getting anci to pull it back on the roto so i can paint the underside

Had lots of time organising and reorganising. Built plate for relays fuses and computer just working on how to mount to firewall, working on heater lines from Nissan to datsun. Radiator is driving me crazy! Sizing and looks keep delaying my decision. Got all lines done for oil cooler. Spent a lot of time on pedal box for tilton set up to find it will not pass engineering being that no balance allowed in street reg'd car. So it may or may not find it's way in later.
Tried a couple of different seats but none so far are a hit. Think I'll reupholster oem seat in prince skyline style theme.
Anywho pics to follow

Ok no, but, would I be doing this for motor life/ replacement later or multiple speed? I've had a think maybe I could use this motor with head light style multi position pull switch for different speeds? Forgive me if I've been on the moon.

Ok so got a bit done today. After a couple of thousand measurements and cutting once i fitted wiper motor on the inside of the cabin. Relatively easy actually.Glove box requires no mods and dash fascia covers all evidence.
Finished of trans tunnel with stitch weld then grinded back smooth and laid a bead of sikaflex around the seam.
Being that everything was going along well I drilled out spot weld for handbrake reinforcement and relocated it further back to go with new console set up.
Took out oem radio and gave it a good clean, came up awesome! also found a place in the US that ads new inners and a usb cable! So Millennium Falcon!
heres pics

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Just waiting to finally crack and buy a tomei oil block so I can plan oil cooler set up. Was thinking of setting up bozuku style external cooler and neat 2nd one behind grill. Have some awesome jiffytite fittings I can use that quick release....
Hmmmmmmm ( see sig )

If your motor goes forward so does everything else eg gearbox, mounts for gearbox and so on... I know I'm only some guy on the interwebs but no booster would be my fix.

Have you thought of not running booster?
Love the rocker cover going to do similar on mine. Makes the motor look like the old school lotus engine.

I dont know what offset the wheels are sorry ? Only know their 8s rear and 7s front.
Few updates, continued the mods, put new hole in firewall for engine loom and started to see if i can reverse mount ( hide) wiper washer behind firewall.
Finished new gearbox mount just trying now to work out now what holes to seal up and what holes ill need to accommodate in the firewall . So far its,
engine loom clutch master gauge lines? body loom (already there) heater lines- probably run on thermostat side of motor into cabin
Going to run tilton overhang set up so wont need brake master and if wiper swap works can seal up washer line holes.
Was a bit worried i was making the right decision not running a brake booster unttil it dawned on me today the the car never had one! But then again it didnt have brakes like it does now...
