I am having trouble trying to get my early model A12 to run anything close to what i would call smoothly.
Currently it idles randomly between 1500rpm and 600rpm and when first started at 2000rpm.

Had it running ok yesterday on idle, but after 5 mins of driving things become almost Undrivable, stalling and cutting out in the lower rpms.

Can anyone recommend a good place to try to get my stock A12 to run?
Or is anyone on here willing to stop in and have a try on my engine?

I am not chasing power, just an engine that runs normally.

Happy to pay for time + parts, just not keen on towing my car to a mechanic which is unfamiliar with old cars,0r worse still to a mechanic aiming to rip me off with unneeded charges/parts.

Ideally I'm chasing someone from the Datsun community who knows A-Series.

Please help, Ash.
