Yerp that's my #OOPS#box.
Sr20 conversion, fully engineered ,daily driven car.
Still sounds like a dirty old a series
Body unrestored for laughs
(a mate took it for a test drive and did the heli's, I'm not that stupid as it's a main road)
But Why have the car if your not going to drive it.
Would have left the motor stock if I wanted another boring p plater 1200

just had my 1200 coupe engineered with sr20,flares,widewheels etc. very very strict rules.
and as of 16th engineers licenses were taken off them by the rta.
rta has made a new list of engineers and making them comply with stupid unnessicary #OOPS# (there own insurance being one of them)
only 6 engineers in nsw on that list atm
(the rta dont realise how many disabled vehicles and such this affects, will realise soon enough)
no more engineering can be done until mid january im pretty sure bud.

In the lighting system page.
"Front running light lenses are either all-orange or white + orange
Reportedly the lamp housing is different so that you cannot simply swap lenses.

Europe, Australia (shows photo of orange+ clear Parker)

Japan, America (shows photo of orange)

This is what I meant in my original post.
So this info is wrong or?

Yeh i have parkers that all all amber (no Parker)
Jap ones don't have a Parker like aus?
Obviously JDM means stock there and it has been abused and lost it's meaning.
Yet your not going to sit with a simpleton and explain to them what shakotan/boso style is.
It's easier to just say yeh make the car is Jap/JDM.
Lot of things they have in evey car model that we never receive :/

right.
there is a lack of help regarding handbrake cables for a 31 diff into 1200.
.
the diff used : Shortended R31 Silhoutte LSD.
(ignore my lack of bumpstops atm , place who shortened the diff are idiots. didnt do hb cables or bumpstops. also conveniently placed brake lines where bump stops should be haha)

okay

WHAT YOU NEED :
- Standard R31 Handbrake cables (just the left and right cables , dont need splitter)
- Diff already in the car.
- $200 for Handbrake cables to be made and steel cost
- Few Hours time
- Masking tape
- Decent Mig Welder
- Cordless Drill/Pedestool Drill/Drill Bits.
- Tie wire/mig wire/string (used for measuring)

Step 1.
- Im assuming the rear brakes are all connected and you still have the standard handbrake cables. Connect it all up and push the cables to sit ontop of the leaf springs. prevents them from sagging.
Cable tie the cable to the leaf to hold it there.
cable tie it to the housing also.

you will realise one cable needs to be shortened. one has to be made longer

Using my template as a rough guide. Make the piece you will be welding to the diff.
i forget the hole size but it will vary on cables.
- Tack the piece to the diff inline with the front section of your existing handbrake.
cable

now tape the wire/string to your cables and run the string/wire to the plate on the diff.
Mark where you want the cable place to add the cable stop.
now make a second mark about 50mm before your existing handbrakes threaded swage end.

now that you have all your measurements. take them down to a handbrake cable/clutch and brake place for them to make you new cables.
NOTE: make sure you get threaded ends put on. or this guide is useless.
(took one day , cost $190 . i thought this was reasonable)
while your cables are being made. get started on the splitter box.
(shouldnt need explaining as there is photos)
but yeh 4 sides, pretty much a triangle shape, which is going to allow you to bolt it to your existing handbrake cable end. and have 2 holes for your new cable ends.
very simple.
After everything arrives. put it together and enjoy having a handbrake that doesnt slap on your tailshaft.

PICS : cables are cut and finished in this picture.

Wow So easy to bait/troll
Re: photo (cant qoute on mobile) Your a muppet. Every single coupe owner has seen those photos. All are at the same show and im 70% certain One of those is the coupe that the guy who makes the flares owns.
I ment seen with my eyes in australia. Obviously there is going to be ones with the same.
As for the hankie - free postage an you have yourself a deal.
As for the forum change. Yes there is neg feedback as I asked for it and what people don't like about the car. They say wheels and bonnet. Pretty obvious the bonnet is new and hasn't been painted, wheels are fake and interior wasn't complete.
For the keyboard heros.
The people who have seen it in person see it very differently.
I'm not whinging I enjoy the hate and the bosos are great for pissing people off.
How do I delete this myself? If I delete account it should work yeh?

Hang ring and leaf... Not sure if
Trolling or just blind...
Haha interacted more?
The amount of topics left with only views and no comments was ridicules.
Asked for handbrake information/sr20 conversion info, wtb coupe rear bar. Many times . Also Interacted a lot with the ute build.
Take this one for example 16000 views. 90 comments, About 20 comments from people
Just shows there is no intrest in this car
JDMST is alot better suited .And talk to more people from here on fb then on this actual forum.
Do whatever you wish with this page.
Will prob upload a separate proper how to
For r31 handbrake cables. (on the diff not crossing under the tailshaft)All costs and the such because the lack of resource is annoying.
A mod can just delete the whole build as this car has been done many times before people can refer to those.
Flares and spoiler obviously been done before but out of all the coupes I've seen in my life I have never seen the same.
Its when you get people asking how to do the dash , front lip and boso pipes thay annoys me and Well after there was a group buy on the previous front spoiler I had (golf) is it wrong that I made my own and refuse to give information on things I have made myself to be different?. As I don't want everyone making one.
Guess I'm going to have to just buy some front wheel drive wheels and do a custom stereo install just to make everyone happy :/
I didn't keep genuine wheels as it is no show car, it's a daily driver that I couldn't care if the wheels get damaged, their cheap and replaceable.
Smashing a set of genuine rs8/wats like I had would be pretty stupid.
Besides the fact I'd rather run good fitment
Then wheels 2 inches inside the guards like I've seen.
No-one liked the car before.
So don't pretend to like it now.
Bye chris, Adam and Jesse.
:)
