only from the UK on ebay, then you have freight plus a two month wait if they are happy to post to Australia

I'll drop it to $150 + postage then

very nice ute there.

I used to own an R100 too, sold it and have a 1200 coupe I've just put a L18 stroker in.

I'll be curious to know what you think of the CA18det compared to a 13bt, it's a shame 12A n/a is all you can legally do in a Datto 1200 in NSW, otherwise i'd do a 13bt conversion in mine.

I might also convert to CA18det down the track, so it'd be good to know if it will keep you happy compared to a 13bt.

Thanks for the info, I found a set of ute u bolts and plates but didn't realize there was two sizes, I must have got the early model ones as they are the same size as my coupe ones.
$60 down the drain! Haha

Anyone got a spare set off a H165 or H190?
Otherwise I'll try get out to smithfield

Thanks again

I've put a H190 complete diff into my coupe that came out of a 1200 sedan, my problem is with the bigger diameter of the axle tubes, the U bolts end up stretched out and won't fit the standard coupe lower mounting plates. I elongated the holes and got them on but they don't tighten up all the way and the U bolts look stressed.

I got some flat plates with the diff, should I weld a bolt to the bottom as a shock mount?

I got a set of ute U bolts and plates as I heard the bolt spacing was wider but still looks like i'd need to elongate them as well.
But they have a bigger stub axle diameter shock mount so it may screw me with the coupe type shocks as they mount to a smaller stub axle.

Any ideas?

cheers
