I understand the rule as being
-if your brakes or line have failed in any way you have a emergency/park brake-
So tapping a hydro hand brake into the same line as your brake peddle is making the emergency brake useless. Needs to be routed on a separate system...hence not using the same braking method to the normal brake peddle

My understanding. Would be convenient to have it in the same lines to illuminate the need for cables

I would be interested in a hand brake as well. I have been looking around for a smaller setup leaver myself to no avail. Same thoughts as to cadet1200.
When you have time see what you can come up with.
