Thanks Rob
I am hoping to do Carnell in September but I'm no chance for the first round.
I still haven't finished fitting the front discs yet and my motorsport budget has taken a pounding of late.

Rev - the front drums were fine for the first few track days I did but have developed some nasty shudder since. I have been unable to get rid of the vibrations despite repeated machining, replacement of bushes etc. Hence the change to front discs.

Rob did a fair bit of work to get the drum set up working well and can no doubt explain it all better than I can but they are not the standard Datsun set up.

Can anyone tell me if KB10 rear brake shoes are the same as other 1000 variants?
Cheers Matty

Well done mate. I enjoyed the dice with the Corona.

IPRA is such a great category. The QLD boys are racing at Lakeside again shortly if anyone is interested in watching some quality racing between a massive range of cars.

Greg explained that the A1RM is known as a transfer pad meaning that it transfers itself onto the rotor. The Intima pad material remaining on the rotors was preventing this.

Ange I pulled the A1RM pads out on the weekend and sent some photos off to Greg from GSL Rallysport.

It appears that, in my case, there has been a pad/rotor interaction issue due to me not having the rotors machined before fitment of the pads.

I have refitted the Intimas and will hang onto the A1RMs for when I next replace the rotors.

As always Greg was very helpful.

Regards Matty

No mate just unlucky. Four different cars and all different locations.

I have to give credit to Shannons though, as they have always looked after me even though it has cost them a fair bit (twice the people who hit me have been uninsured).

Not interested in doing anything other than getting the details to the police.

Yep this is the sixth time one of my cars has been hit whilst parked or stationary in the past three years. Not sure what I've done to cause such bad karma.

Hi all
My Ford Focus was cleaned up out the front of my house at Zillmere today.

By the time I got out the front the car was too far away for me to see the registration number. Consequently the police have no interest in pursuing it and I am up for the excess.

Can you please keep an eye out for a mid blue 1990's Toyota MR2? Something like this one:

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...ords=&__N=1216 1247 1252 1282 4294962861 4294962177 4294766388&SearchAction=N&silo=1011&seot=1&tsrc=al lcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=6&__sid=1274F70A7AEE

It will have damage (and silver paint) to the passenger's side.

Any help in finding this wanker will result in you receiving a lot of alcohol.

Matt
