Hi Scottyb
I have used a standard 120Y speedo cable on mine. It bolts straight up without any mods. They are $5-$10 from the wreckers or $70 brand new from Nissan.

I have used a 3.75" Speco tacho in the standard clock binnacle. It fits in there almost perfectly. The tacho comes with or without an internal shift light and costs about $160 from any auto parts store. As an accidental bonus it matches the factory dash lights too so it doesn't look out of place. Kevin Rowley installed it for me by bolting it to the metal frame at the base of the dash and I ran a bead of silicone around it to keep it in place. Let me know if you want a product number or anything.
Sorry for rambling.
Regards Matty

I paid $300 for my mod plate that covered 7 mods. Engine, gearbox, fuel tank, diff, brakes, suspension and seat.

OK Dodgeman I'm sure the cops didn't write the ticket up as `going too slowly' but they DID book her, they DID fine her and she DID lose points off her license. The incident was on the news a couple of times and was also covered by one of the current affairs shows. The lady failed to get her license back after several attempts.
I still fail to see how a go slow procession/protest would help get speed cameras and radar traps away from revenue raising areas and into the black spots where they should be. The only result will be that that a lot more cars will be put over the pits and their drivers will be a bit lighter in their wallets.

If you've got one you don't need in SE QLD I've got a carton of beer for you.

I remember a elderley lady being booked by a police officer for driving too slowly. She was also sent back to the department of transport to be retested for her license.
So I wouldn't advise a `go slow' protest because there is always something the cops can pull you up for even if it's just the inconvenience of being put over the pits.

Fulcrum sell an adjustable spring platform kit that you could use to convert your front strut legs to a coilover set up. I think I paid about $70 for a pair.

Keep in mind that with the cars only having 12" wheels as standard by putting 15" or 16" wheels on you are increasing the unsprung weight by a large amount which won't help the handling at all.
I currently have R31 14" by 5.5" steel wheels with 175/60 Falken Azenis Real Sports tyres and my ute handles beautifully. Once the CA conversion is completed I will go up to 195/60 R14 or 195/50 R15 tyres. You will regret it if you overtyre yor car.

I've still got most things mate. What are you after?

Apologies to anyone I haven't replied to. I manage a retail store and business has been huge over the Xmas/Sale period so I haven't had too many opportunities to get on my computer.

You can get race seats from OBX called the Daytona that are a copy of the Sparco Sprint seat. I paid $250 for mine and it bolted straight up to the original seat rails with a couple of extra washers. Mine is plain black and reasonably comfortable for a fixed back race seat.
