I know where your coming from! I joined here recently as a Datsun newbie. Trust me, this site is a goldmine in Datsun intelligence. You won't be dissapointed.
The larger diameter only makes a slight difference in the speedo. What you really would want to do is get a GPS and ride along just to get an idea of what it really does. As far as the transmission, I believe they had a 56 series? But I'm not entirely sure. As I said, I am just a newbie like you :P

Well, I know where to start on the under the hood one. As far as the under dash one, everything critical seems to be working so I'm not too concerned at the moment.

I just figured it has to be done some time :P

I've got a few loose harnesses that are laying around. I can't seem to find what they go to. There's nothing around the area of the harness that's unhooked. Any ideas as to what these may be?

First is under the dash drivers side near the fuse box.

Second is under the hood near the battery. It looks similar to the alternator signal wire, but it's not.

Well, I've always wanted to turbo my A15, but like I said, I'm too short on money to be able to afford it :(

I'm just a poor teenager working a part time job. lol
I'd be all over this if I didn't have other financial obligations to worry about. Medical bill, things of that nature.

That's a good looking kit. It's a shame I don't have the extra money right now.
