Looks like your speedometer is stuffed. Needle should be resting at 0.

My springs are pretty close to being straight and the bumpstops were still touching the body when fully loaded, so I don't think the shocks were bottoming out yet. I think once you cut about 1" off the bumpstops the standard shocks would start bottoming out maybe

I know this is ancient history, but what were the shorter shocks that you got jamiecidpedro?

The B210 bush clamps are the same as B110/B120, but the bush rubbers are different (bigger holes for the bigger bar)

Sadly dead thread

Buying a C120 low roof vanette soon, plans are CA18DET with an auto behind it.

Do all the C120's have the vented disc brakes or only select models?

And what is the go with no shock absorbers in the front end?? Strangest setup I've ever seen, much stranger than the Suzuki Carry with the half-rack steering...

A long dead thread but it was probably the coil and/or ballast resistor. The power bypasses the ballast resistor and goes straight to the coil when the key is turned to the 'start' position for easier starting, but when the key goes back to 'on' the power flows through the resistor and then into the coil. A faulty ignition switch usually does a few things like the engine wont fire when the key is turned all the way to the 'start' position stop (turning the key just enough to engage the starter usually gets you around that), the key will sometimes jam halfway between the 'acc' 'on' and 'start' positions, and then usually shortly after that the spring inside the switch will collapse and when turning the key to 'start' the key won't spring back to the 'on' position.

Nice to see progress on this ute Jeff

That ute with the embossed gate and mass sticker-age has a Hako front too

Could you use a small tank eg surge tank or oil catch can, have your standard fuel pump feeding into the top left with a 1/4" fitting, a 1/4" or whatever sized outlet in the bottom feeding the carbs, and a 5/16" or 3/8" outlet on the top right of the tank returning to the main fuel tank?

Surely it can't build up pressure if the feed line is small and return is larger? Tank would only need to be small, 500ml or so, mounted up as high on the firewall as possible. Cut a piece of RHS to length, braze some ends on it, braze threaded outlets onto it.
