You need a fused (needs to be appropriate for the pump, check what the donor car fuse size was) supply from the battery, a SPST (single pole single throw) relay and a switched source that only goes live when the key is in the on position.

Fused supply goes to terminal 30, Supply wire from Relay to the pump goes to terminal 87 on the relay. Switched wire goes to either terminal 85 or 86, whichever one you don't use is then connected to earth. The pump earth is connected to the car body at the pump (make sure you remove any paint etc under the earth).

That should set you up with a pump that only turns on when the key is in the "ON" position, has a fuse that protects it and a good strong voltage supply.

Hope this helps..

Also google "SPST relay" or SPDT relay" for more info..

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mot ... iat/auction-295161150.htm

Has a seperate bell housing and already fitted with a straight cut C/R 1:1 5th gear set..

$1500 South Pacific Peso's = approx $1200 AUD plus 150 or so in freight..

No, the standard pressure sensor is just a switch, either on or off. A guage will normally need an analog signal i.e. voltage/current/resistance increases with oil pressure.

I have a set of coupe doors that I might be persuaded to sell

Meaning to keep for mine until was sure originals were OK, but make a reasonable offer and I could be talked into letting them go..

They look in pretty good nick but not original paint so can't be 100% sure. Drivers side 1/4 light doesn't open as catch has broken lock button, otherwise all good.

I am not home until Monday, so if interested, can post pics then.

Located in Melb, eastern suburbs..

Sometimes it just staggers me how much some people think they need to change a car? By all means improve things but there is a line!

Speaking of drilling jets.. Does anyone know where to get a (full) set of jet drills? I know they aren't cheap being precision tools but could be worth the $$.

My old boss had a full set and I remember jetting his MKII Cortina with a set of Mikuni's off a Toyota 2TG using them. Never bought a jet, either drilled them out or soldered them up and then re-drilled to suit.
