Sorry, can't remember which seals they were but when I get back next week will check the invoice to see if they are ID'd.

DD, not sure on why you think the posi seals use more oil etc? They are a positive seal around the valve stem (and guide) so actually help prevent nearly all oil from being sucked down the guide. I know from 1st hand that my engine went from smoking the shed out if left to idle for any length of time to no smoke at all after having the seals replaced (and the guides weren't touched).
The umbrella types have a bad habit of riding up the valve stem until they sit just under the retainer, thus doing sweet FA to stop oil being sucked down the guide.

You can install positive lock type stem seals without machining a groove in the guide but they can pop off.
I just had my head reco'd and got them to machine the groove in and fit the positive seals, worth the effort I reckon.

I gather a few people have shipped stuff from Japan, is anyone able to give me an idea of the cost for shipping a set of wheels, Tokyo to Aus?

A fella from our Tokyo office (good bloke that he is, his old man had a coupe when he was a young'un) is keeping an eye out for a cool set of old school JDM rims for me and I am wanting to get an idea of possible shipping costs.

Make it so people have to be vouched for by a minimum of a couple of different members? Then maybe we could have a locked sticky that only admin can edit to put the names in?

Instead of a name and shame, which just invites arguments and name calling. How about a hall of fame? Let everyone know those people that do the right thing and pay up, the people that describe their items accurately.
Those people that do the right thing may then even gain priority when multiple people want the same item..

I'd believe $4.5k on the fuel system. there are two Barry Grant fuel pumps there plus fuel cell, surge tank, metres of sheathed fuel line, speedflow fittings, fuel rail, regulator etc.

BG pumps go from $500+ each..

Anyway, lot of hardware for the money..

Hmm, $$ and a weight would be nice to know..

The stroke shouldn't matter pushrod height as it is the cam C/L to head height that sets the pushrod length.

Where has the third length come from??
