I picked mine up in Sydney, checked all the fluids while filling up and then proceeded down the Hume at a solid 70MPH all the way to Melbourne without a problem, awesome first drive..

I lIke it.

The pad for under the head bolt could also be made a bit thicker for those running head studs (actually those that have the ability to get longer head studs, not something easily done with the std bolts), therefore increasing the strength.

Anyone had anything put though the ISF process? Just read an article where a fella did his R1 internals and gave it a big thumbs up. Reckoned it just made everything that much smoother etc.

Had a quick Google and can only find two places in Aus that do it. Would expect it to provide most benefit to a high RPM race motor, will be something to keep in mind when I get to building mine.

Datto_Mog/UteSquid,

The picture of the stripped down EFI manifold is mine and it is for sale along with a low mount turbo manifold and ported H75 head, see here:

Datto_Mog,
My sister is visiting from NZ in June so could get it to you for local NZ post cost if you are interested?

Chuck a volt meter on the battery and check what the reading is at idle with lights on and off. Should stay reasonably constant at approx 14.5 volts, this would indicate the alternator/regulator is OK?
