That unfortunate noise is the fuel pump, it's a Holley blue that has been regulated back to 4.5 psi and there's nothing between the body and the pump mount so it is very loud. One thing I'm not short of at the moment is fuel flow, I was thinking of removing the pump and going to a facet pump but it might be best to keep that pump and bleed pressure off through a return line. Not sure, where I'm heading. The thought of E85 has crossed my mind.

That s a nice looking ute, doing things the wrong way is often the quickest learning curve. Have fun learning and I hope if doesn't cost to much along the way. What do you have planned for it?

Sounds like plan. Need to replace my axle and might try welding a 3.9 diff center and see what happens. Find out if I can get the 13.99 I was trying for.

You may already know this and i dont know the exact details but with the KA24 heads there are two different types. One makes the swap a lot easier than the other, i believe you need the type that came out of a rwd not the front wheel drive. I have been told you can use either but there is a lot more messing around to make the front wheel drive head work.

i have a metal grill center emblem, PM me your number and i will send a photo.

Is there any chance you know or can find out what letter is stamped on the end of your camshaft behind the camshaft gear. If its 'B' then i will swap you for yours just cover the postage.

Was a good day.

100.07mph 14.13et
98.97mph 14.01et

All other runs between 96.8-99.8mph and 14.41-14.14et

10 runs before i got a little carried away with warming up the tyres and blew my diff, aim of the day was to see if i could get 13.99 but it was not to be. So very close :)

I have a '712 Camtech' cam shaft in my sedan which i will be pulling out in the near future, its much like the 733wade cam mild street grind. Where are you located? You in a hurry?
