your not wrong flatto, i used to work for visy and they would buy metal from BHP up north stick it on a ship send it to Indonesia sit it in a Factory for three month and then ship it back and truck it to the plants to be used, they didnt even process the product overseas. it was cheaper than putting it straight on a truck a sending it straight to where it was to be used. I never understood it in detail but it had to do with export and import taxes and such things.
