Pick up only, I'm in Mitcham.

What is the width you require flange to flange?

From the picture you have with the shackle missing and the spring mount against the chassis it appears the spring is to long. That mount should be closer to that position when the spring pack is almost flat not when it's not holding the weight of the car. It looks like if you had the shackle in and compressed the spring the shackle would actually fight against the spring when extends its length during compression.

On all my datsuns the rear shackle is almost vertical and is not far past lining up with the chassis mount and they all sit with the springs not far from flat with the weight of the car resting on them.

It would be my guess that they are not the springs for that car.

Looking for a Jatco auto

Don't care what it is out of

Prefer SE suburbs Melbourne but willing to travel a bit to pick one up.

With flex plate and convertor a bonus

Cheers

I'm keen as always. The last time i was up there it was really quite and there were not a lot of cars, when speaking to the staff they mentioned that there was an event on the weekend before and this usually leads to a quiet one to follow.

The 26th of October and the 30th November both follow events so they should be a bit quieter -could be wrong :)

Anyone available and have their car ready for either date?

Nice purchase, I have always liked the sunny. it looks very clean, looks like there is no bodywork required. My kind of project, I think a set of black wheels would set it off really well.

Have fun with it.
