Nice score Andy I'm glad you got yourself another wagon

it looks like it won't take much to touch it up and make it look nice
but def get rid of those wheels. I'm not a fan depends what you like I guess
good luck with this build champ

Thanks guys I'm excited about the custom dash and glove box too....
Hope to have them done next week on the laser cutter at work
spent a lot of time doing the designs for them , will just need to get some nice
looking gauges for the dash.
Speaking of work have been rebuilding and cleaning up the standard a12 I got at work
in the pump room haha no one has seen it in there yet lol. I got the engine
off Damo in Perth well out in the middle of no where.
As it seems it has a new head which is always a good thing. So cleaned and painted the
engine just waiting on a couple of seals and should be in the wagon soon
here's a couple of pics pretty and clean will still need to pint the rocker cover
plus half way through making the intake manifold for the bike carb set up I scored a while ago
oh plus making a custom shifter for it too should look nice when done
well enough talk here's a pic of the engine
dam it I can't upload the pics from my iPhone so will post them up tomorrow when I'm home
on the computer

ok guys i've been so excited about this build that i spent all day
yesterday on doing the front end, spent most of the day laying down brown paint and off white in the engine bay and rubbing it back to give it a rusty look with parts of bare metal showing, smash it all with a heap of rust inhibitor and converter then sprayed a few coats of clear over the bay...
a lot of you guys might think what i'm doing is weird but its going to have that unique look that i'm sure not many people have the balls to do...
and don't worry its not going to like that all over the car just the engine bay and engine, i have a standard a12 for it at the moment but plans are for a 12a turbo.
so i re-welded the front apron back on after removing the rust at the front
sanded and ready for paint, welded the little hole in the inner guard and blacked them out.... well here's a few pic's sizes of photo's may vary as the computer i'm on is at work and is sh*t at resizing pic's
