Thanks champ....
Alrighty then.... I didn't do much today as i was busy at work for once lol But i did finish mocking up the rear inner wheel archers, all i got to do now is weld them and shape them a little bit more so they are rounder. Plus i started to give the engine bay a few more coats of black and the front end. so thats starting to look nice now. And i got some new chrome for the doors in the mail.... Plus i was bord so this is what i did to make my girlfriends cat have a nice smile. hope you guys are still enjoying the build, it might get a bit slow in a week or so as i have to go oversea's for work but after that it should get going again.. but hoping to have the ute painted before i leave fingers crossed. But until then i will keep working on her and keep posting up pic's......
And cheers for all the support guys!!!

Hey champ i wouldn't mind having a look at your coupe I want to see how the ca18 fits. As for the rust thing i'm sure there are guy's out there that have worse rust damage.... But to tell ya the truth all sorts of rust is just a pain in the ass. But if you ever need a hand fixing your rust give me a yell. We can fab up some stuff and weld it.I get all sheet metal for free through work.

yeah the rust was pretty bad... I ended up measuring pieces up and making them at work then bringing them home and fitting them. Was using a gasless nu weld mig suprisingly its not bad to use. But traded it in for a cig weld 135amp gas/gasless mig. I still find though with gasless you get the splater cause of the flux core wire. But it dont mater to much when ya just grind it away. Sometimes i buy gas but its a bit expensive sometimes. Will post up some pic's of the rust repair soon for you if you want to see it???
