Aprilia RS 125 Motorcycles use a split nylon bush in the clutch lever pivot bolt that also works for fixing hinge pin slop, Just spread the bush around the pin and install without having to remove the hinge unit.
A few other Bikes will also have similar bushes some even bronze (Some Honda's and Kawasaki's)

Tom I am not so sure about "Better Response" compared to CV carbs I do think because CV carbs feel smoother like Fuel Injection does they may not feel as Punchy.
It is amazing when properly tuning CV carbs and getting the low and high speed air correction right just how much power they can make, Often more than FCR carbs.

On a side note but also relevant, With Nissan Datsun HItachi SU type carbs Fuel level is vital to correct mixture, Too high and they go really rich and of course the opposite also applies, just a 1mm change can see Air Fuel Mixtures go from 12>1 to 15>1 at low to mid speed ranges.

FCR carbs unless you run something like Factory Pro modified Needle Jets really are a MotoCross On-Off sort of carb fueling wise, Fine for the race track maybe not so nice on the road in downtown Las Vegas Traffic.
The Issue with FCR carbs is in fact poor emulsion performance especially if you need to go below a 180 Main Air Corrector Jet, Then Mixture quality is rubbish and even if the Dyno readout says the Mixture is OK the power drops off, For that reason they really need Big Air correctors for the main circuit or better Emulsion Tubes (Needle Jets) with some bloody air bleed holes as FCR's don't have any at all stock.

Carburetors are not quite as simple as some people think.

C110 otherwise known as 240K Castor rod rubbers fit straight in and are much more solid giving a vast improvement in control under hard braking as well when doing this mod, Urethane are often too hard and end up breaking stuff if not careful hence why I use rubber just better rubbers even with stock Castor let alone "Moar" (more) Castor

Tape up the gear teeth and bead blast the syncro cone area and the actual brass cone also the newly aquired satin finish works a treat as long as the Dog Teeth are not damaged.

Last time I fitted Koni shocks to a Ute I used VW Passat Station Wagon rears and they were from memory on the spec sheet damping wise pretty close to what was needed length was OK compressed and extended as well, They worked fine in a Ute fitted with a Z18 Turbo, The only issue was getting the turbo to load up properly (many Gearing changes later including input gears in the box it still needed cement bags in the back, Just not as many)

No not stupid ADR's Stupid Victorians, In NSW we can self certify up to a 15% increase in capacity with no visit to the engineer.

ADR's also cannot be made retrospective so pre 1975 pollution gear is a non requirement anywhere in Australia bar having a crankcase breather running back into the airbox.

Orange spark is a sign of weak spark it should be blue,If the spark is weal like that you can find that in the engine under compression it is actually too weak to fire the plugs.

I would seriously hook up a multimeter and make sure that there is 12 volts everywhere it is needed, It sounds like it is only getting the 7 volt ballast feed and it likely needs 12 volts not 7 volts.

The Original setup with points ran a special coil at 7 volts when running and when starting the start circuit supplied 12 volts to boost the spark for start duties then when the Ignition switch was turned back to the run position it supplied 7 volts, So there should be a 12 volt supply when cranking and a 7 volt supply for the run position of the ignition switch.

I think that aside from the earth on the ignition module on the side of that Bosch Distributor which is vital as even getting the module damp can kill spark the problem will likely be voltage feed related, Remember 12 volts when cranking and 7 volts with ignition in the on position at the Coil and the Module uses the same coil fed voltage the points did.

Found a report on Yahoo Canada nothing Local, NSW Baird Government has been drinking the UN Coolaide on the Climate scam.

CO2 number one is not Pollution but with Photosynthesis and Sunlight plants convert CO2 into Oxygen, All the UN Climate change scam is all about stealing your Money and Jobs for the Third world.

The third world, Specifically China and the Group of 77 (Actually now some 133 Dictatorships, Islamic Hellholes and various other scammers such as Nigerians control the numbers in the General Assembly of the UN, Hence they came up with a Scam called Climate Change and this is why Jobs are leaving Western Nations and the cost of living has gone through the roof.

Well Cop this Treachery from the Baird Liberal Government they signed up to the Green Climate Fund in Lima so they have decided to Increase your Cost of Living and take your money and give it to the third world along with your Job.

Seems we all need somebody other than Liberals or Labor to Vote for and sure as Hell not the Greens (Communists)

*******************************************************************************From Yahoo Canada
OTTAWA - Stephen Harper slammed the door on unilaterally regulating Canada's oil and gas sector Tuesday even as four provincial governments, representing almost 80 per cent of Canada's population, were pledging to go further and faster in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Environment ministers from British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec signed what they're calling a compact in Lima, Peru, where an international climate conference is underway.

They've joined with 12 other sub-national governments — ranging from New South Wales in Australia to Scotland — in recognition that their national governments may not be prepared to move with the urgency required.

"All of us are signed on to an agreement to set targets together, to set common disclosures and to build co-operation to get deep reductions," Glen Murray, Ontario's minister of environment and climate change, said in an interview from Lima.

Most of the signatories to the compact have agreed to reduce GHG emissions by 80 per cent or more by 2050, and are already meeting or exceeding more current targets.

The deal was signed on the sidelines of a United Nations climate conference where the international community is negotiating a new post-2020 global agreement on curbing greenhouse gas emissions. It's hoped that agreement will be finalized next December in Paris.
