Isnt this a new carb? Cant you just adjust the pump?

Had a go at fitting this today, it makes no contact with the cam, even with the spacer thing removed. Looks like im back to auto one.
Now wheres that receipt.

The pertronix needs 3ohms which the gt40t is and it can handle 9-12 volts. so....... it should be ok. I will get one next pay, i think they are like 80 dollars or something.
I just like the cleaner look, not looking for a performance gain.

Ok im going to own up, these are my carbs, i bought them off ebay and just bolted them on, can you believe the car ran. Datsuns huh ! So when the money was there i bit the bullet and got them done.
This whole process Clyons8 has been a pleasure to deal with and nothing has been a problem for him, he also kept me informed during the whole process. Mabye just because how bad these were, i cant believe it.
I have no problems recommending Clyons8 for this job "i wouldnt trust my carbs with anybody else".....ha ha ha ( like a commercial )
But seriously DO IT.

Hi i have installed my pertronix kit with the supplied coil. What i want to do is tidy things up so wondering can i run a small gt40t coil?
I just want to boot the ballast resistor, basicaly. Thanks
Oh and i did search this topic for a while but sometimes you come out more confused.

Im looking at using the shortest leads possible, the ones i have seem a little longer than nessary.
Any one looked into this, just want to neaten things up.

i will have a go at fitting it tomorow, just didnt want to fit it and be wrong and try to do the whole return a oily pump for a refund thing.
