A 225lb spring needs 225lbs to compress it 1 inch That is my understanding of how it works.

As above, i am after a rear drum setup for the ute would prefer already on the axles as im lazy but if cheap enough il take the no axle option. So drums, shoes backing plate etc. Thanks sydey south

So would you shorten the strut body say 50mm or do you get the insert and shorten the body to suit the new insert?

Yes mate it does pay to shop around, especially when we all work hard for our pay, its good to save here and there. Thanks Looks like morebank is 10-15 mins closer to me too!

Thats good for doors, you didnt ask for a tailgate by anychance?
Anybody know if the height of the gate lines up with the rest of the ute back?

So any experiences? Im sure they need work but do the doors fit or the ute tailgate im also looking at the ute quarters. Let me know your experiences.
What could it cost for new quarters welded on the ute?
