A 225lb spring needs 225lbs to compress it 1 inch

As above, i am after a rear drum setup for the ute would prefer already on the axles
as im lazy but if cheap enough il take the no axle option.
So drums, shoes backing plate etc.

So would you shorten the strut body say 50mm or do you get the insert and shorten the body to suit the new insert?

So any experiences?
Im sure they need work but do the doors fit or the ute tailgate im also looking at the ute quarters.
Let me know your experiences.

What could it cost for new quarters welded on the ute?
