i think your dizzy is 180 degree out of phase. try swap your lead 1 and 4, 3 and 2. sometimes the mechanic put the dizzy 180 degree out of order, but no problem, swapping 1 and 4, 3 and 2 will solve it.

locked diff is common in malaysia, as the drift scene is now on the rise. many of my friends locked their diff (mostly KE70 owners, not datsun). yes, the bushing on their ride tends to wear out faster. and dont mention about tyre wear, a new pair of tyres every two months!

i search on the net, many says spring loaded locker is crap, and many says it works. i guess, it depends on the spring stiffness eh?

a little out of context, im not sure yours is DGAS or DGES because, the letter A in DGAS stands for water choke (A for Aqua). perhaps yours is DGES. E is for electric choke.
