you wont believe me, some people in malaysia used Coca-cola to clean their radiator, and some used brake fluid. take out the radiator and fill with coke, and shake it vigourously... but i prefer to just use radiator flush, simply just drain the water, no need to take out the radiator. put those radiator flush, and fill again the radiator with RO water... about 100 miles later, i flushed the coolant, and refill with RO water.. done..

in malaysia the climate is tropical, the temperature and humidity is pretty constant throughout the year, many carburettor user has removed the choke plate, as they dont need to choke during cold start.

if the fuel level is 1mm below or above the dot on the glass, you are good to go. did you retune the carb? if you dont use the choke plate, why not remove it? better air flow i guess...

thx D and littledarkone. nah the carb is not the mighty dcoe, but puny dcof 32... dunno what the choke size is... going to check it soon...

yeah boxer engine sound, and the response is lesser than using the stock carb... further research on the net, i found that the carb is originally from the fiat 500 abarth, i think those 32 are pretty small... the flow is separated, a barrel feeds the cylinder 1 and 2, and another feeds the cylinder 3 and 4... i think im going to modify the manifold so that both barrel is connected so that the pulsing is becoming lesser apparent... and then i need to tilt the manifold, 5 or 7 degree, and make a bakelite plate to isolate the carb from the manifold. after prolonged usage, the manifold tends to get hot, does hot carb works properly?

my setup:

its not dellorto though, its a weber dcof 32. but not using the crossflow manifold, just cut and paste from stock manifold. i reckon the exhaust rhythm is weird, almost boxer engine like no matter how hard i tune the mixture.. btw, its an a12a bottom with a H89...
