Hello There! Just want to ask you guys regarding my electric fuel pump. when driving in highways with normal speeds the pump is working normal but when and everytime I'm in traffic or just idle for a while the pump makes this very loud noise and the engine almost always dies and i can see that the fuel filter has no fuel in it even if i have lots of fuel. i have already clean the fuel tank and fuel lines. what would the cause of this.

your inputs would be very much appreciated.

my starter was making this very loud noise when cranking the engine and it was really really loud my neighbor told me they were disturbed every morning since i go to work early. so yesterday i went to my mechanic and he told me to replace the bendix drive which i have no idea what it was, they put it back and to my amazement i can barely here the starter. it was really that silent. i'm really happy about it and my neighbor.

my guess is the two grounding wire inside the distributor are broken.
sometimes it does not make contact and totally the engine dies.

i had the same problem before. i replaced the coil, spark plug and tension wire but still nothing change then replaced the dizzy cap, points and condenser yet still the engine runs rough and dies. then replaced the stock carb with a new toyota 3k carb and at last the engine runs smooth again even when revving hard. well that was my case.

I have experience this before on my pick up. the problem was the tie rod ends and wheels not properly aligned.

Thank You, Thank You So Much!

The Color was my Wife's Idea because she wanted our first ride to be blue (her favorite color)
The black roof was the painter's suggestion and I'm glad it worked out great.

Funny that no matter where you are in the world, all automotive workshops have posters of girls with their bosoms hanging out on the wall
