DD its on a 1000

Chris, I thought the paint flaking would be an issue, ill give the hairdryer trick a shot ...

If i dont take the pins off and go with the adhesive idea, what holds them in place? Are they the same as the 1200 clips DD speaks of?

i've got some badges that i need to put on the car but i cant see how they're in place ... Is it just a matter of drilling a hole marginally smaller than the pin and pushing it on (with some sort of adhesive either on the badge or something on the pins) ... Or is there more / less to it?

i can tell u fellas r talking from experience ... Im sure that would make it on funniest home videos ... Ill give it a go tomorrow and let u know how i go ...

How to i take it off? I tried to pull off the metal badge in the middle, but im a little worried its going to break ... does it just pop off?

tongy, the wheel is what im chasing ... Its a spare so tread is no big deal, as long as something is there to get me out of trouble ...

Ok, the 1k needs a spare tyre, i dont want to risk driving around without one ... I've tried calling all the wreckers around my area and no1 seems to have one ...

175/70/13 ... Also if anyone was the little wing nut / bracket that holds the tyre in that would be good ... (possibly the same as the 1200)
