Also, it's hard to see in the pics but the towbar is black (ish) too and it all looks fairly tidy.

The body is annoying me but I'll leave it alone for now. I'm not a perfectionist but it's something I'd like to look at doing in future.

at 440cc they will probably be 7mgte injectors

I've also got new brakes all 'round, hopefully they should arrive shortly. Slotted rotors & QFM pads front & rear, and new fluid. Should make a fair improvement on the existing gear which although an upgrade is just straight from a half cut with old rotors & rubbish pads. Will post some pics when that's done :)

Been doing a bit of tinkering on the beast again. All the new rims are on, boot trimming is finished, and I've painted & fitted up the towbar.

Also spent a fair bit of time tidying up the engine bay, powdercoated the cam covers, tidied up some general wiring and hoses and replaced some bits and pieces and got my head around a lot of stuff that was done before I bought the car.

like most motoring journos, ha wouldn't know a carby from a camry.

i remember overhearing two wheels journos at a dutton event one day... one asked what a wastegate was and the other proceeded to explain what a BOV does... i'm not sure which is worse, asking the question or not knowing the answer...
