lol fair enough. well i have seen custom made boxes that have been put in the glove box. also in my old mans coupe he has pulled the old radio out and cut a slightly bigger hole so that our new sony stereo fits:)

yeh good stuff man. i wanna do the same with my dato but being 15 and having very little cash kinda stops a lot of that haha :S. umm one think i might suggest is that if you try and find an original dash it has a glove box and (in my opinion) will be much help. Ive seen glove box's made with a box inside them with a head unit on it so that no one can see that theres anything good in there.

Cheers guys. The bloke before me had 6x9 holes cut in the door so i am just going to put another set in one in each door. As for the sub i think i will go alpine of some sort and place it behind the passanger seat beause i reallllllyyyyy need the room! haha. if i grow much more im going to need to ditch the ute and get a bigger car with more leg room. being 15 and having a few more years of growing :S haha. as for the headunit im thinking maybe a sony. but as for the amp im not so sure yet. :S this sound system could set me back about half the cost of what i brought the car for ahhhh hahahaha. mate if i was you i would just stick with and orgineal dash. get it refurbished and it will look good. (preferably get the coup dashes because they look heaps tuff!! (unfortunitly by the time you get one re-done it will cost around about the same as a fibrglass one :S . i know of a few people who just ground it back to flat (where it was cracked in the usual places) bogged the cracks, painted it black and then got the top vinaled and they looked quite good. :) but good luck! i would love to see some pics as well!
