i used to own a 1200 coupe, but sold it when i picked up a one owner ke20.
how much do datto 1200s weigh?
according to my parts catalogue my ke20 (lighter than the red ke25 pictured) comes in at 740kg........

so all you had to do to fit the standard 1200 drums to a h165, was have the drum machined to take the larger bearings, from the larger axled h165? that sounds relatively easy and cost effective.
cheers for that, i might give it a go!

i also have that magazine, but i would still like to find another brake option.
if you read the article he says that it only just fits under the guards.
they must weigh heaps, so id like to find something else.
cheers for the help datldo

yes it is a h190. the actual housing is only like 2mm longer than the standard 1200 one.
i was hoping to use the drums from a s3 blubird, which also has a h190, but ive checked the wheel bearings at work and they are not even close. i will see what i an come up with, hopefully datldo has a magical solution.
ps, they re 6 stud, but its nothing to have that changed.
cheers
