there's another american 1200 owner running dual downdraught webers but on a custom (short) intake, and that setup works great

the coupe shocks are much shorter

actually, it might be even better to have a tri bar that attaches to the firewall

is he gonna make them with thicker alloy bar or thinner steel bar?

now that's a sensible approach to dddw's using a custom intake rather than the elbow attachment to the su intake
