Hey mate,

Thanks for the advice.

Yeah can't help it...love the 1200's too much. Got this one at a better time in my life and this one wont be going anywhere. It is still registered. I might not go adjustable gear yet, it's just a thought.

I apologise mate but those numbers you have thrown out mean not much too me. Lol...sorry.

From what I gathered your saying a dont need to upgrade the booster? Use R31 rear brake setup.

Can you elaborate a little more on the rest. Im guessing your saying to use a 11/16 master cylinder from the front. The ute currently has a 13/16 or 7/8 installed?

If this is correct, where do I get one and from what car? Same question for rear.

Cheers mate.

Up to you mate I can do the same price

Hey mate. Thanks for the offer. Might just get them off datgx since his includes shipping to my door as opposed to having to come and get them from SE Melb.Unless motorsportman has the brackets as well.

Thanks mate but I'm after the 250mm setup.

Hey mate,

Do you have the brackets as well? If so, I'll take the Calipers and brackets only as I'll buy new discs. Just to be sure, are they they 250mm setup?

G'day guys,

I have a '76 1200 Ute which is pretty much stock atm. I plan to pretty much rebuild it from the ground up with an LZ Combo engine. Just starting to piece it all together first and have decided to start with the suspension and brakes.

This is what I have planned for the front so far.

Standard 1200 Coupe Struts with 45mm Coilover sleeve kit. 200-225lb king springs (Suitable spring rate for street?). KYB MK1 golf inserts, S13 250mm vented discs, S13 Calipers. For good measure, adjustable Lower Control Arms, adjustable caster bars and camber tops, adjustable swaybar, New Radius Rods, New Ball Joints, new Steering Arms, new draglink, new inner & outer Tie Tods, all new bushes.

Now for the questions. You will have to excuse me if some of my questions seem a bit noobish, still learning. Just trying to get it right from the get go.

What is a suitable rear disc brake setup to compliment the front setup?

What is a suitable booster/master cylinder for this setup that fits without too much modification and address the following issues:
Brake Warning Switch
Dual outlet cylinder
Brake Bias which I guess has a bit to do with the rear brake setup choice. Do I need Np or Proportioning Valve.

Your help and advice is much appreciated.

Cheers, Joe.

Het mate.

Sorry I forgot they were copies. Yeah if I could get the originals that would be great. How much would postage be to Oz? It looks like those wheels are 15 X 7 with 32 offset. Probably a bit too big for the ute. I was thinking more of a 14 X 7 with 0 offset would be better.

I think the 03.

I want plenty of dish on them. Like these?

G'day guys,

As the title states, I am chasing a set of S13 Front Brake Calipers for my 1200 ute. Also need the Kev Rowley Brackets if anyone has any.

Located in Melton West (VIC). I can pickup anywhere in VIC.

Cheers, Joe.
