Still trying to source an Alternator. I have determined that I need something at Least 65amps.

I understand that the LR-160 versions might fit?

I have found this on ebay which is a 70amp version. It has an LR-160 cross reference and is a Bosch Unit.

Will this work?

Typo D. It's actually 74mm.

I had one before which came on a GX5 Replica coupe and I was sad to see it go.

Got lucky with this one.

I really want a set of GX5 Coupe Bullet Fender Mirrors but don't like my chances!

Didn't think I would ever be lucky enough to see one of these ever again. A pretty happy chappy right now!

Certainly is a "Buffalo" manifold that I will be using. Not sure exactly who made it but it was sourced a few years ago from a South African seller.

Hey guys,

I have just had my H89 Head Reconditioned. I have fitted a set of Dual Valve Springs.

My engine builder is anal and wasn't happy to install them with the standard base washer.

We went out and sourced a set of I.D Locators from a V8 (Set of 16) which have specs suitable for smaller type springs. The thickness had to be machined down (approx 0.03") to suit but this is a very basic job.

Obviously I only need 8. Wanting to sell of the other 8 (UN-machined) to recoup some cost.

Looking for $70 plus postage. Much cheaper than having them made up.

Specs:

OD = 1.160"
ID = .500"
locator shoulder OD = .610"
.095" THICKNESS

I used degreaser and a pressure washer to wash down the block where it was to be painted. I also throughly washed out the water galleries. I did avoid the bores though. I did give the bores a wipe out and I've re oiled the bores and face for now to prevent rust.

When I go to assemble it, I'll give it a full wash down with the soapy water. Shouldn't effect the already painted surface.
