Is this the first one you pictured?
G03 B110 style (and early B120) used by C20 too?

So basically I can use any housing and it will bolt on and seal. The extra holes will just be left exposed?

Very cool pics. I do like the the solid colour but it's not for me...on this build anyway.

Car is eventually going to be charcoal silver. For the engine, I'm going with mostly black and chrome. Thinking of getting the rocker cover hydro dipped in carbon fibre pattern for something different. I'll chrome certain things such as timing cover, water pump, alternator; water outlet. Tidy wiring and hoses. Might try to pick up some bling with HPC coated Intel manifold and turbo manifold, stainless bolts, braided lines and anodized fittings.

That's the plan anyway.

Ok didn't realise they were all the same. I thought there were different types with different bolt patterns?

Hey guys,

After a Water Outlet / Thermostat Housing for a H89 Head.

Is there anywhere I can buy them new if there are no good used parts out there?

Happy to pay postage.

Joey.

If the engine has the same number as that, then yes it will be the A14 (1.4L).

G'day mate and welcome to the forums,

To tell what engine you have, you need to locate the Engine ID Mark which is on the engine block itself. The number is on the left (distributor) side of the engine.

I am led to believe the 120y's came out with A12, A14 and some even A15.

There are variations of each engine.

If it is in fact an A12, there was an "early" and "late" version. The later version (1974 onwards) will have the distributor toward the middle of the block as opposed to being right up the front.

Visit Tech Wiki - Nissan A Engine for more info

and Tech Wiki - A12 Engine.

Datsun1200.com member "bige" can help you with a full rebuild kit as can several other places including precision international.

Hope this helps.
