This is what I have installed in my coupe. Didn't want to cut the dash to make it fit and is good for security now. I am installing my motor device with a 3 way switch now to motorise the glovebox door thing at the moment.

I would love to get them out on the race track too and then see how big thay are. Monster tachs were made for race cars with real grunt not ####box hyundais!

You have to ask yourself - Where is the fun in buying and sticking on parts with double sided tape? Oh sorry, they use a screw driver sometimes. Some are worse and send their car to an install shop for a day.

Obviously his next "ricer" car costs $16000 .

I agree that a cars look should match its performance if it is riced up but if not it does not matter. For example, I cannot afford to even put in a twin sidedraughted A14 because of insurance reasons being only 17 years old. So for now I will stick to my A12 with my 32/36 and extractors. And my stereo which has been installed as to not damage the Datto at all and kept subtle. I suppose you will call me a ricer for that .

They do tend to take their time. I didn't have to bother as I didn't make a claim for my wee accident. Was not a good look for a 16 year old to get insurance on the Friday and crash on the Monday. Somehow got off paying his insurance company for the damage my Datto caused to his crappy Honda. Damn Hondas.....

Ya, the redline adaptor plates for a Weber 32/36 carb for a Datsun 1200 are also specified for the Mzda 323 engines. Obviously the same manifold bolt pattern.

Those mags on Datto 1600 #6 look real mint and suit that 510 real well. 16" is not that big for a 510 i suppose. I like the look of those Simmons 16s on 510s but that look has been thrashed quite a bit in Oz going by Fast Fours cars. Still think a small old skoola like a 1200 suits smaller wheels better. Otherwise the wheels are so big in proportion that they take the attention away from the actual car itself. And that would be a shame for a 1200.

I agree with you on that one. In some cases they look alright on some applications such as some Datsun 1600s I have seen, but old skool wheels were made to suit old skool cars as were new wheels made to suit new skool cars. The mintest old skoolers still wear mags such as Tridents, Hotwires, Minilites...etc and they look much better this way than with big chromes or 17s. Just an opinion though.
