If I put an A14 head and manifold on an A12, what would I have to do? eg regarding compression...

My car has got a similar rough running problem. It starts fine then after driving and turning it off during the day (eg driving to work, then to lunch, then home at night), it gets rougher and rougher to the point where I have to constantly rev it to stop it stalling. The revs bounce between 100 and about 1500. I got a new battery and plugs but have recently had an alarm installed. Could this with my sounds be depriving my engine of power? Please help me.

You should try Supercheap Autos on Blenheim and Annex Rd corner. Ring them to see first. You wouldn't have a spare 32/36 Weber at all would you?

I'm in the process of fitting new belts in my 1200 Coupe and I have succeeded in the front but am having difficulties in the back. I had no belts in the back seat previously and have found mounting holes for lap belts but was wondering if I could install lap sash belts. I was wondering what the purpose of the two wholes with threads was on the walls of the coupe's boot space??? My bolts are too big for the threads.
