Turning right at lights, saw a car coming towards me indicate right and he ended up deciding to go straight - into my poor datsuns front guard. I feel sorry for the beast. I was taking it to the panelbeaters next week for a new repaint as well. O h well, #### happens.

I've bought a universal aftermarket shifter knob and I have had trouble taking off the original knob. Is it glued on at all or is it just screwed on?

I'm wondering whether my newly fitted 175/65/14 tyres with minilites will mean that I will have to get my speedo re-calibrated? I know the original ratio is 17/5 and would my wheels make a big difference to this?

No, it wouldn't be the one. I just bought it a month ago and it really needs a repaint as it still has original paint. I know of a Red Coupe down Annex Rd that is being wrecked but I haven't seen a coupe at Addington yet Matt.

Does anyone know the paint number for the Sun-Bright Red colour on 1200 Coupes? My number situated in the engine bay has worn off and it needs a repaint. Thanks

You should fit some nice 13 inch wheels ay. Keep the hubcaps somewhere safe but the mags will improve your car so much. My 14 inch minilites on my 1200 Coupe improved the cars look. The hubcaps did nothing for it.
