If the Coupe is standard I do not see any reason for a booster at all. They are a very light car and unlike the early utes and sedans benefit greatly from having a disc brake front end.

Did the 1200SSS have round port heads?

I have seen utes like this sold for more with more k's on the clock. They are worth more than a CA powered ute easily and will get even more expensive with years to come.

I have a 32/36 on a standard A12 at the moment and it is running rich with the main jets at 130/137. Would this run rich enough to wash the bores and cause an engine seize? I am asking this advice as I am planning to travel in this car on a 5 hour trip. I have a 125 jet that I will replace the 130 with and use the 130 in the secondary.

You sure you are not thinking of the Weber 40 DFAV which is not a progressive but simultaneous downdraught carb. It looks almost the same as a 32/36.

Will the SU 1.5" HS4 carbs fit on a GX manifold? There are some Hitachis for sale on the manifold that I need and I want to go 1.5 SUs rather than the Hitachis but was wondering if this manifold would fit the SUs. They are going on a H89 A14 head.
