Hmm just noted the ball joints attach under the arms so spacer would need to be on strut side. As said above.
Thanks again

Thank you very much for the info.
I would assume the R31 inserts would be more comman and might have good aftermarket options.
Hoping to drill the new mount holes up as high as possible and if it's not going to take to long I'll also attempt to make a spacer for the ball joint to lower the other end so bump steer is t effected as much by lowering it.
It is a budget build for now, more just for fun and amature club level events.
I will be doing a hydraulic handbrake for the rears anday have to invest in a bias control anyway.
Is the wheel fitment issue that the hub face is closer to the strut than others or just the hub to strut camber is less? I hope to run negative offset wheels and reshape car body later if needed. (I enjoy a little fabrication, haha).

Hi good people, I've started parting out my brother in laws stanza so I can grab the struts, brakes and lower arms. I've been doing a little research and need wanted some confirmation on a few things.
First off is there enough adjustment in stock 1200 tie rods or do I need to use the stanza ones? If I redrill the lower arm mounts out 10mm then will I need to make new tie rods?
Second could I use the stanza brake master and booster instead of investing money in a 180b one or similar?
And last I need to work out how much to section out of strut tube, 50mm seems to be mentioned on a few sites but I'm going to weld on coil sleeves and the option of going low low would be nice. If anyone has suggestions on an insert I can run and amount to section out? Will be used for hill climbs, motorkhana, sprints etc. Springs are 4kg/mm.
Thank you very much for your help

Did it tonight, made a boss kit. Happy as.
Step 1) cut the spline out of stock boss kit Step 2) machine it till smooth strong and looks a bit nicer Step 3) drill out a plate that fits over the spline with aftermarket bolt holes Step 4) cut out and round off plate Step 5) on a perfectly flat surface space up your plate so its square with the back of the spline piece and weld it
I now have my imported nardi steering wheel (came in a R32 I imported) sitting about half an inch from the steering column cover. Had to bend the indicator stem a lot but so much more room for my arms. A little too close to my knees now but still good. Down side is the nut that holds the boss on is now closer to me than the wheel so in a bad crash it would hurt. Not recommended for road use, haha

Thank you, so the offset was enough for a 4 or 5mm steel plate to be welded in and drilled for the calipers or did you use something else?
Hmm if your still finding bump stops maybe I should go further. yz1975 Above mentioned a Golf insert but I dont know if they would suit a stiffer spring or not.
