The turbo S13 and 180SX got bigger rotors and so did the 240SX when they switched to DOHC if I'm not mistaken. These won't fit under 13s but I think there are some 14s that would probably fit. S14 Qs got the smaller brakes too, that's what I used.

It also appears that RB20E R33s got the same smaller brakes.

Apparently the later model drum hubs are a little different. I just finished this same conversion and used 1988-ish sunny truck hubs and had to machine them to fit the rotors over.

Great work by the way!

Will fuel economy be the only thing affected, because I have a pretty wild cam and want to boost my engine eventually. I was thinking I'd have to change the cam but it'd be nice if I didn't.

Used a spot weld removal drill bit with a 90 degree drill. Worked great.

I get around 25mpg with a worked A14 (1510cc 12.5:1 comp, huge cam and 45mm carbs) with an OD 5 speed and 4.1 gears with very short 215/50-13s. This is on 95 octane, and all city driving, giving it hell most of the time.

If stoplights in CA are 700 feet apart, they're about 200 feet apart here!

wheel weights could be hitting the strut if it's close enough

Takes a little practice but it can be done. I've used my cheapy arc welder to tack exhast together and get everything set up then bring it somewhere there's a mig to have it finished up.
