Have you tried turning the splines on the gearbox? You can put it in gear and rotate the output shaft or drop the 'box back down and rotate the input.

I'll cut the head of the key off and try and get the lock apart that way. If not I guess I'll be looking for a new lock set. It's doubtful I can get one through Nissan, although I did just purchase a new tailgate and the piece that goes under it.

Got a little problem. I went to start my truck today and the key turned to ON then stopped. Won't turn either direction now and won't pull out.

I've taken the back off where the plug goes (the actual switch part) and use a screw driver to start it now.

Luckily the key is stuck in ON and not LOCK so it can still be driven but I need to fix it. Any ideas? Does the lock somehow come apart so I can get the key out? Anybody else ever have this problem?

It's possible they pictured one of the other applications listed which would explain the offset. How much were yours dattoman?

Very nice. Like the new layout. I've tried in the past to do something like this for my El Camino and 180SX but it never works. I'm computer illiterate. Anyway, keep up the good work!
