I've got a 1967 El Camino that's on it's way over here finally. 327, 4 speed, 12 bolt posi. It's pretty mild (14.3 in the 1/4) but fun to drive and lots of potential. Bonus that the wife loves it too.
Wife's transitioning from her 1200 to the 1991 Toyota Hilux Surf we just bought. It's replacing the one she had before the 1200, which got rolled by a friend (yeah, I know) who is paying for most of this one. New one's got 6 inches of lift, LSD, locker, headers, well I could go on for an entire page. Let's just leave it as the previous owner was very meticulous.
I've alse got a 1989 Mazda Porter-Cab. It's a 550cc two cylinder truck that I've redecorated in 50's flat black and pinstripes. It's awesome for hauling stuff.
Yep that's another thing I noticed, it's more like driving a car now instead of a truck. First gear was close to unneccesary before the swap. It may be all in my head (haven't researched to see if the 1st ratios are actually different) but it feels like a lot more usefull acceleration. Maybe I'm just trying to sell myself on my desicion to swap?
