Over $500!!! Not cheap but I guess when you consider it replaces 4 gauges with one it's worth it.

Hey Estyre,
If your donk is low on compression (particularly on one cylinder) and popping and backfiring a bit then there's half a chance you may have a burnt valve.
The best way to check if a compression problem is rings or valves is to do a "dry" and a "wet" compression test.
For the dry test, just do it as normal. For the wet test, do it straight after the dry test but put enough oil in the cylinder that it will cover the top of the piston and spill over onto the top piston ring so it creates a "seal". I dunno what the top of your pistons is like but if they're concaved then it's a fair bit of oil! If the reading is considerably higher on the wet test then you have a worn rings issue. If the compression doesn't change much then the likelihood is that your valves are gone in that cylinder.
It's worth trying in my opinion. If that fails, inject the fu#$en thing!!!

D- Yep that's right price wise.

Oldschool- They actually do make one-

Only problem is that it's a four inch gauge so a bit bigger. I reckon with a bit of trimming you could open up the hole enough to fit the 4" in. The centre hole would look the best to give it a bit of symetry with the single larger dial in the centre.
Autometer do one as well but it's even bigger at 5". That might be a bit of a battle but it would be worth it as it looks nuts!

The Autometer speedo is about $320 from the states.
The Autometer Tacho is about $230 delivered.

The GPS guage is $275 delivered. It even has green LED's in it for side indicator signal and a blue LED for high beam! You can also put flames and additional text or logos on the gauge face as well. Amazing how flexible they are with the design.

They can do some awesome stuff-

I just thought I'd share some interesting information I've found while researching gauges to fit in my dash.
As you would probably all know the correct size for the Coupe style 3 hole dash is 3 3/8".
Most of the gauge makers make this size. The hardest bit is finding metric gauges (which I guess isn't essential considering a lot of our cars originally came wth MPH speedos).
I've fallen in love with the Autometer "American Muscle" style gauge which has only just become available in metric-

There is also a matching tacho that also looks great-

Just today I was doing a bit more looking around and found these guys-

Speed Hut Custom Gauges

They fully custom make all of their gauges so you can choose the entire design on the gauge right down to the text style and needle colour! The gauge I've linked to is a GPS speedo so you don't even need to connect it to your transmission to get your speed. It even logs your quarter mile time, 0-100kms time, elevation plus heaps more. Looks awesome!

Anyway, just thought I'd share that info for anyone who's looking at gauges. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Was your donk already mated to the auto when you got it or have you got your CA and then sourced the auto separately?
If they came together it should be pretty straight forward. All the sensors you mention are all very important. Especially coolant temp, cam, speed sensor etc as they all control the fuel delivery and spark timing.
You can use either the dash out of the Silvia or you can get electrical replacement gauges (Autometer, etc). With a coupe dash (3 round dials) you can pretty much just plonk a 3 3/8" gauge straight in the hole. Some people like to mount them from behind for a more factory look.
If it all gets too hard there are a few places around that will do a full wiring loom for you to match the recipient vehicle.
Good luck!

Dick brakes? Just put a cold spoon on the end of it and it should go down.

Ha ha, I didn't see that! You've got good choice. What engine do you have in your Qey? Mine is the 3.0L diesel and it is unbelievable! I love it. Apart from the speeding fines I get in it from being so smooth and quiet. I've given mine to the wife now as a disguise for how much I'm spending on Datty. It's not working, luckily all the stuff I order for it turns up to work so I can slip them in through the garage door unseen when I get home.
