Paid him $300 delivered to the other side of town for everything (lower control arms, struts, discs, calipers, etc).
Wish I hadn't bought them as I would've bloody bought your coilover setup!!!

Hey Wardy, I got a set of Stanza struts off Japwreck (who one of the guys recommended earlier) just the other day. I'm pretty sure he said he had another set so if you get stuck you should be right with them.

After my daily "stalking" of your awesome build page and seeing what you're capable of you'll be more than welcome to help!

Get your work to fly me over to Perth and I'll drive that $exy bad boy back! That way I'll actually get to see what a nice 1200 Ute looks like! (Sorry to my Datty!)

Still no word from the engineer. Not that it should worry me seeing I'm doing it anyway but would still like to know....

Dismantled my R31 diff yesterday to confirm what I thought that the "LSD" diff I got wasn't actually an LSD. Surprise, surprise it wasn't.... Lesson to be learnt, not all R31 Silhouettes have an LSD!

So anyway, unperterbed I tracked down a (100% confirmed!) complete LSD with brakes, etc for $300! Picked it up after work tonight and it looks pretty good. The VS Commodore Ute it came out of had 150K on it so will probably need tightening up but we'll see when I pull it down. If a lot of it's life was long straight driving it could be ok. A lot of utes are fine especially if they come from the country
The new diff is a 3.08:1 ratio so I'll change it over for the Skyline gears which is a 3.91:1. Should get off the line nice and quick!
I'll probably convert both diffs to suit the Datto in case I need a spare or want one set up for highway driving one for track or strip.
I'm actually glad I got the Commo diff as the brakes are a lot simpler (straight push in piston rather than screw type) and the park brake is better (like a drum brake setup inside the disc).
I'm going to do as much of the conversion as I can and hopefully just get the axles resplined. That's the plan anyway.....
I'll post some piccies when I get a chance.
Bough one of these badboys today too. Can't hurt surely?

I'm not sure if I'm stating the obvious here but you can get some (expensive) new ones off Ebay if you have any trouble getting some off someone else.

Good luck!

As some of the illustrious former posters have mentioned, the name of your business will dictate the type of customers you attract.
To start with, my presumption would be that you're going to need the run of the mill (boring!!) servicing jobs to help develop a customer base and get the $$$ coming through the door. Once you've established your credentials throughout the area you can start to focus on just the performance stuff and move away from the boring stuff!
Without overdoing it, what about Riverina Service and Performance Centre?? Covers both bases.
Another tip, don't use your own name or family name as the face for the business. Reason being is when you start making a mill a year and want to offload the business, it's a lot easier to sell a non private named business.
Sorry, overkill on info but my two cents for what it's worth!!
